SyncSpeaker

Works offline · Bluetooth only

One song.
Every speaker.
No Wi-Fi.

Turn your friends’ phones and your Mac into one sound system. The host sends the music over Bluetooth, and every device plays it at the same moment, even at the beach or in the car.

Free · Android 10+ · macOS 13+ · iPhone iOS 16+

Same beat, same moment, on every device.

How it works

One device is the host and has the music. Everyone else joins as a speaker. No accounts, no internet, no pairing codes.

  1. Host a party

Open SyncSpeaker, tap Host a party and add songs from your files (MP3, M4A, WAV).

  2. Friends tap Join

Their phones find your party over Bluetooth. One tap and they’re connected, with clocks synced automatically.

  3. Press play

The song is sent to every device, then all of them start together. The next song is sent while this one plays.

Big sound tip: connect a Bluetooth speaker to each phone. If one sounds a little late, move its Delay slider to the right until everything sounds like one speaker.

Download

Install it on every device that should play music: the host and all the speakers.

  1. Tap Download APK and open the file.
  2. If asked, allow Install unknown apps for your browser.

Good to know

Bluetooth is slower than Wi-Fi, so here’s what to expect.

Up to 8 devices
One host plus up to 7 speakers. Keep everyone within about 10 metres of the host.
The first song takes a moment
The host sends each song before it starts (often 30–60 seconds). The next songs are sent while music plays, and songs already sent stay saved.
Your own music files
MP3, M4A, AAC and WAV files work. Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube lock their audio, so they can’t be shared.
Screen can be off
Music keeps playing with the screen locked. Keep SyncSpeaker open in the background.
